A Journey on the Rosewood Railway.

This is a complete journey on board the Rosewood Railway filmed as if looking out the train window. Note: This line is rough and the rail motors have limited suspension so the footage will be subject to movement. The Rosewood Railway was operated by ARHS Queensland as a tourist railway using former Queensland Rail Diesel Rail motors. It is a short railway taking less than 10 minutes to ride from end to end. The Rosewood Railway operated on the section between Cabanda Station and Kunkala Station. The railway is 65 km west of Brisbane and is unfortunately not directly accessible by public transport from Brisbane or Ipswich. However as a result of the pandemic in 2020 the Rosewood Railway is no longer operating trains and due to limited funding and low volunteer numbers it is unknown as to when it will operate again. This video was produced in 2017.
