Hello everyone, I had shared my basic information above and the purpose of sharing this story is to make everyone aware of the disease i.e fistula in ano. Because it is very difficult to diagnose this disease rather than diagnosis it’s very very difficult to cure the same as there are many myths of recurrence of this disease. Firstly I got symptoms of this disease in April 2019 which was swelling around Ànal area one pimple that bursts pus and painful defecation. I searched in google and got to know about Dr Ashish Bhanot and I came to meet him Delhi. I met him and he diagnosed it as Ànal fistula and advise me for surgery on the same day. I only came to consult him and I was alone and Dr Bhanot told me that he can do surgery today and the treatment will be in stages and sittings and total 3 sittings required to cure this and also he told me that from very next day I can sit travel and do my office work. As I was alone and I was scared how he can say that after surgery I can do everything and the sitting system was out of my mind .i decided not to go for surgery and I came back to Jammu ‘WHICH WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE’. 2) In Jammu I went to a local doctor and he advised for ksharsutra and he was very sure it is going to cure u .he did it without any anesthesia and was extremely painful intolerable pain, even I was unable to sit properly. He changes the thread every week and in a period of one and a half months he changes it 15 times I was exhausted and decide to consult another doctor. 3) I went to a private hospital in Jammu and he advised for laser surgery for fistula in June 2019. Yeah after his surgery I was comfortable till one week then the problem started again the doctor advise me to take another opinion for the same. 4) in July I went to a surgeon in Shrinagar who was a very senior practitioner Mch In Gastro surgery. He advised me for emergency surgery as there was an abscess and told me that he will treat fistula and abscess as well. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days and after discharge, I was a bit comfortable but after one month the pain started again and there were swelling and abscess again I came to the hospital and the doctor admitted me and advise for abscess drainage. It was the end of August and he drained the abscess and advise me antibiotics for and month. This time I was totally depressed that this is not going to cure and after so many procedures no doctor is able to cure me and also it was not so easy to manage the things with the office work. 5) so in December 2019 one of my known from Jammu advise me that u should go to Dr. Bhanot and he is only one surgeon who will cure u of this. And after that, I had a conversation with many of dr Bhanot’s patients on youtube who was cured by Dr Ashish Bhanot .then I realized I should go to dr Bhanot and came to him in January 2020 .then I share about all the procedures and sufferings with dr Bhanot he advised me that now it has become a horseshoe fistula which is very difficult to treat but it is going to take time maybe 6-8 months. He operated me the very same day and from the next day I was comfortable and after one week I joined my office and he called me monthly for the treatment/sittings. Yeah for me the first month of treatment was a bit difficult to manage because of the wrong treatment and complications in the past. Yeah from second sitting I was quite confident. Now it is the end of July 2020 and it is near to end and I am very happy now. Because of my mistakes not to believe dr Bhanot in 2019 April, he would have cured me by the end of July 2019. I suffered a lot and delayed at least one year of my treatment. I want to suggest everyone not to go in the wrong hands because the disease is complex and Dr. Ashish Bhanot is the right surgeon for this. His team members are also very cooperative.
