Ready to take a look at the Diplomat Aero Flame fountain pen? Get to know it a little bit better by watching today's featured fountain pen review with Vanessa Langton (aka The Pen Gangsta). The Diplomat Aero Flame Fountain Pen with a Fine Nib: An Overview Get more info about Diplomat: https://www.penchalet.com/diplomat_pens/ 1. The Pen Packaging: The pen comes in a black and white package featuring an oversized Diplomat logo. It opens from the side and it's really interesting because the top of the box is actually metal. That part slides off and then you open the box. Under some literature, you finally see...the pen. And it's gorgeous. Underneath, you'll see cartridges and more literature. This pen comes with really enjoyable, innovative packaging. 2. The Pen Design: The Diplomat Aero Flame fountain pen is made in Germany. The Aero Flame is flamed by hand and the shape is intended to resemble a Zeplin, and you can see that when you're considering the pen. And the detail is gorgeous. The fluted detail...the whole design is just great. 3. The Cap: The cap comes off really nice and snaps back on cleanly. The cap posts, and it's a great sized pen. It feels really great in your hand. 4. The Weight: This is not a light pen, it's got a nice, solid feel. 5. The Clip: The clip even has a good spring to it. If it writes as good as she's heard...it may just be the perfect pen. She's heard nothing, but good things about it. 3. The Converter: Does it have a cartridge converter? Yes, it does. You'll receive one with your pen. In this review, Vanessa inked the Diplomat Aero Flame with Monteverde Horizon Blue. 4. The Nib: The nib is stainless steel, and has the Diplomat logo on it. Does the Diplomat Aero Flame fountain pen write as awesome and smooth as everyone says it does? Well, this reviewer was impressed.
