The Dialogue Series was started by the Constitutional Law Society to allow interaction between students and academicians on various contemporary law, politics, and policy issues, to facilitate removing the skepticisms from the minds of the students and audience. Recently, there has been a power transfer in Afghanistan that has completely changed the dynamics of the political sphere of the world and especially of the South-Asian region. We through this dialogue aimed at holding on a discussion that what changes it will lead to in Afghanistan, what impact this power transfer will have on South-Asian politics and we also want to explore this crisis through a vulnerability lens, that what impact it will have on women and children of Afghanistan. Our guest speaker for the Second Session is Dr. Haroun Rahimi. Dr. Haroun Rahimi is an Assistant Professor of Law at The American University of Afghanistan, Afghanistan, and a Visiting Scholar at UNIDROIT, Rome where he is conducting research on the role of intermediary countries in the transplantation of European Codes. He was also the Imam Bukhari Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Dr. Rahimi completed his BA in Law from Herat University, Afghanistan, and his LLM and Ph.D. from the University of Washington, United States of America.
