Hey everyone, Regis here from 'Talk to the fish'! 🐠 Welcome to a full, 60-minute, uncut surface-to-surface dive. If you've ever wanted to know what it's really like to explore a beautiful Philippine dive site without any edits, this is for you. We're in Panglao, in the Visayas, about to explore the famous Habagat Wreck and its stunning nearby reef. This video is true-to-life HD for a complete, immersive feeling. You get all the thrills, but also all the quiet moments and the waits, for a 100% authentic rendering of a real scuba dive. Our dive starts on a sandy slope before we join the wall and then head out into the blue. About 5 minutes in, the Habagat Wreck appears! This small freighter was intentionally sunk in 2011 to create an artificial reef, and it's doing its job beautifully. It was swarming with longfin batfish, snappers, and lionfish. The visibility on the wreck was excellent, around 20 meters. After exploring the wreck, I headed to the reef wall on the left (viz dropped a bit to 15m here). Tucked away, I found a stunning painted frogfish! A bit further on, we cruise past a hawkbill turtle enjoying its lunch, completely unbothered by me. For our safety stop, we ascend to the shallow coral plateau around 6 meters. The diversity of sponges and corals here is just remarkable, bursting with beautiful colors. And for the grand finale? As we prepared to surface, we swam right into a huge, swirling shoal of sardines. What a fantastic dive!
