Groin Strain Relief - FAST and EFFECTIVE Techniques!

Are you suffering with a groin strain? You keep trying to stretch it and it doesn't seem to help? What is the solution? The adductor muscles, which are usually the muscles involved in a groin strain, most likely have a build up of fascial adhesion (scar tissue). Therefore, stretching is not usually effective. In fact, it can aggravate the groin strain. The solution is to perform Myofascial Release Therapy! Place your adductor muscles up on a bench. The height of the bench is based on your flexibility and height. Now place a spikey massage ball under your adductors. Place the massage ball just down from your pubic bone. Perform some gentle (gage your pressure) back and forth type massage on the upper adductor muscles for 30 seconds. Then more the massage ball down an inch and massage for another 30 seconds. Continue this type of massaging all the way down the inner thigh. You may need to perform the myofascial release work for several days or even weeks. Once the groin strain is feeling better, you can move onto stretching and strengthening. In today's video, I demonstrate my favorite adductor stretch. It requires no equipment and can be performed kneeling down on the ground. I also demonstrate a simple exercise to help strengthen your adductor muscles.
