Join this channel to get early access to new videos a week ahead of their public release:    / @rorymacve   Greetings! :D In an unusual move for a company that prided itself of fibreglass three-wheeled microcars, Bond Motors, much like the rival Reliant company, chose to expand into the realm of sports cars by creating a four-wheeled range of machines known as the Bond Equipe, which would span throughout the 1960s as cars that borrowed heavily from contemporary Triumphs to keep production costs low, but would be delivered via Triumph dealerships across Britain and Europe. The resultant Equipe, through its various generations, was sadly not the hit hoped for by the management, and by the end of the decade, Bond was poised to be acquired by Reliant, more so for its connections than its actual value as a company, though even this would not be enough to save what was once a major part of the British motor industry.
