The first good thunderstorm of the season in Sebastian, FL! At first, it just seems like a normal thunderstorm, but at 27:50, a huge barrage of lightning strikes begins as the storm peaks at a height over 50,000 feet overhead. The barrage continues in bursts overhead through about 38:00 before gradually moving away. The video begins with the highlights I experienced from my car about a half-mile east of the main camera. The main video is filmed with my Panasonic G85 (8mm weatherproof lens) with a separate Zoom H1 recorder, which provides better-quality audio for this video, despite a few distortions when the thunder comes on too strong (could not solve this using auto-levels). The storm moving away could be good for sleeping after 48:00.
