Dr. Sheila Nazarian is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon, entrepreneur, social media influencer, wife and mom. She came to the United States with her family in 1985 searching for new opportunities, after escaping Iran on the back of a pick-up truck. Dr. Nazarian attended Columbia University in New York and graduated with a BA in economics with a premedical concentration. From there, she matriculated into Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and then matched into a combined plastic surgery residency at the University of Southern California. Dr. Nazarian also earned a Masters in Medical Management (MMM) at USC’s Marshall School of Business. Dr. Nazarian first went into private practice in 2013 and she has designed and created, The Skin Spot, a curated collection of medical-grade skincare products made affordable and understandable. Besides being known for her impeccably natural results, she prides herself on acting as an advocate for each person’s "aesthetic journey." For Dr. Nazarian, it goes beyond surgical and nonsurgical treatments; and instead focuses on how to optimize patient’s existing facial and body features to help them feel the best version of themselves. Some of her most recent medical accolades include: 2019 Southern California Super Doctor; Winner of “Social Media Authority” Award at 2018 Aesthetic Everything Conference; Winner of RealSelf 100 and 500 Top Doctor Award; Winner of “2018 Top Doctor” from Los Angeles Magazine; Woman of Promise Award from Los Angeles Lakers and Comerica Bank; Doctor’s Choice National Winner Award for both Beverly Hills and the entire USA; Award of Appreciation from Iranian Jewish Women’s Organization; and Award of Gratitude from Persian American Women’s Conference. In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Shelia Nazarian founded the Nazarian Institute after being approached by hundreds of individuals on what was the formula for her business success. She decided that there was an opportunity to share her story with the goal to inspire and empower others to ‘Think BIG’. The Nazarian Institute aims to connect like-minded individuals and fuel them with the desire to ‘Think BIG’ so they can expand their brand, strategize with Innovation, and concentrate on targeted areas of personal and professional growth.
