In this video I will show you how to crochet a super easy ribbed hat, perfect for beginners! It’s literally the easiest hat I have ever made and my favorite part about it is that it fits perfectly! We will be crocheting this hat using our own head measurements, ensuring a comfortable fit for all sizes 💕 All you need is some yarn and a hook that matches. Also a measuring tape, scissor, and a tapestry needle. We used 2 skeins of Amigo Chunky for this hat. Your foundation chain will be the length of your hat, so make sure it matches your measurements. The hat has a 2 row repeat using mainly sc and hdc worked in the back loop only. Here's the first 4 rows: Foundation chain: Chain sts until you reach your desired length. R1: Put 1 hdc into each st until you have 1 st left, 1 sc into the last st, ch 1 and turn. R2: Put 1 scblo into the first st, 1 hdcblo into each st to the end of the row, ch 2 and turn. R3: Put 1 hdcblo into each st until you have 1 st left, 1 scblo into the last st, ch 1 and turn. Repeat R2-3 until your hat fits around your head.
