In the last video, we rode up to the Ancient Chalukya Shri Karneshwar Temple. From there, our journey continued toward the fascinating Ukshi Petroglyph—the life-size carving of a majestic Indian elephant etched into laterite rock. This prehistoric artwork, part of Ratnagiri’s rich collection of petroglyphs, speaks volumes about the lives, beliefs, and imagination of early humans in the Konkan region. Standing before this ancient masterpiece, you can truly feel the weight of history and its cultural significance. After exploring two of these incredible petroglyph sites, we set our course toward the famous Ganapatipule Beach. Since we were geared up for riding, I chose to admire the temple from the outside and moved further toward Aare Ware Beach, followed by a visit to the calm and quiet Mirya Beach. At Mirya, I shared the real story behind the place—something you’ll see unfold in the video. By evening, with the Ganesh Festival in full swing, most hotels in Ratnagiri were closed, and hunger started kicking in. Still, the adventure wasn’t over—we headed to the historic Ratnadurga Fort before finally wrapping up our day with a peaceful sunset at Devghali Beach, where our stay was waiting for us. ________________________________________ ✨ Highlights from this Ride & Exploration: Varandha Ghat – A scenic mountain pass offering breathtaking views of the Sahyadris.
