How do you find your voice in a world full of scripts? Actor and screenwriter Tolis Papadimitriou shares his personal journey from a young writer to the stage and screen as an actor. With roots in Karditsa and Arta, and a career shaped by passion, persistence, and humor, he reflects on choosing an unconventional path, creating his own opportunities, and staying true to his voice—on and off the stage. Tolis Papadimitriou was born on April 3, 1990. He has roots in Karditsa and Arta but grew up in Chalkida. From a young age, he was involved in writing, and immediately after high school, he studied acting at the Iakovos Kampanellis Drama School. In his first year, he wrote, directed, and starred in his first theatrical play. Many other plays, television series and entertainment shows followed, where he worked as an actor and screenwriter. He is well-known to the public for his role as “Ilias Kanatis” in the TV series “Min Arxizeis Ti Mourmoura” and the theatrical comedy “Mavri Sambouka.” This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
