Baxcalibur is in an interesting spot right now as it is yet another dragon that can do well given where we are in the meta. With double dragon cores like Dragonite & Garchomp running around, an ice type like Baxcalibur with the support of a Ninetales can do very well. Baxcalibur also gets access to Scale Shot, and when you combine that with the Coaching boost of a Sneasler as well as a defense boost from the Aurora Veil, Baxcalibur can then outspeed threats with Scale Shot and pick up KO's even more with Icicle Spear. Kingambit and Amoongus are a good defensive backbone but Kingambit also puts on pressure even after 1 coaching boost. The final slot is up for debate, but a good fire type like Ceruledge or Volcarona makes sense. Coaching with Bulk Up makes Ceruledge tough to break, while Quiver Dance along with Coaching into Giga Drain can make Volcarona also tough to break as well. Time Stamps: 0:00 - Why Baxcalibur?
