Few events are considered better documented the path leading to the Second World War. From the Annexation of Austria in March 1938 through to the invasion of Poland, September 1939, Hitler progressively increased his territorial demands while Western powers pursued a policy of appeasement. Suppressed by history for 70 years, and now revealed for the first time on video --- undeniable proof that in the mid-1930s, Lithuania vigorously attempted to warn the European powers of Hitler's expansionist ambitions and the false flag measures he was using to pursue them. More than a decade before Nuremberg, Lithuania conducted a mass trial of Nazi criminals that revealed German plots in such comprehensive detail that Berlin didn't even try to deny them. Lithuania invited press from around the world to bare witness and report what they saw so that Hitler's crimes would be laid bare before the whole world. Faced with the truth, fearful Western allies instead sided with the aggressor, paving the way for Hitler's path to war. This documentary tells the story of this forgotten legal proceeding, the largest in Lithuania's history, and the sordid reasons underpinning its suppression, until now. 0:00 Introduction 1:18 Chapter 1: Klaipėda 3:03 Chapter 2: The Secret Investigation 4:59 Chapter 3: The Arrest 8:17 Chapter 4: The Trial 10:44 Chapter 5: The Aftermath 13:50 Chapter 6: The Significance 15:07 Chapter 7: Why History was Lost 16:44 Chapter 8: What next? === Support Us! https://contribee.com/balticworld === REFERENCES Eidintas, A., Bumblauskas, A., Kulakauskas, A., & Tamošaitis, M.
