This is a 4K ride on the Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit (KMRT) Red Line from R20 Houjing Station to R22 Cingpu Station. The Kaohsiung MRT was opened in 2008. The Red Line, which is the line this video is taken from, runs from Gangshan South in the North to Siaogang in the South. The line is about 28 kilometers long, with 24 stations along the route. The system utilizes the Kaohsiung MRT Siemens EMU, based on the Siemens Modular Metro design, running in 3-car formations, with the capability for 6-car sets in the future. Powered by 3rd rail, the system is similar to the system of the Taipei Metro, with the exception that the sets are arranged parallel to the windows, and LED displays are only installed above every alternate doors.
