I worked, lived, smell, and breathe this video's progress for the past 46 days straight. No games played, still had my breaks in between, and of course SLEEP (can't forget that!) I'd keep saying that I like experimenting on my videos and try new things, but this video was more of an experiment for MYSELF. I was not trying to break my will or torture myself, I was just testing my strengths and weaknesses, and hopefully I've provided and delivered my end of the bargain! :D The journey I had to withstand was brutal, after 11 drawing board wipes, 4 Aspirins, and 3 headaches... I managed to put this monstrous video together. Don't worry though, I'll be back with more videos in the future, I just need to grab some fresh air, touch some grass... Learning Blender was one of the best decisions I've ever made, but, Blender was also ONE OF THE reasons for my long departure on YouTube, for I did set out to focus on what I mostly desired; right after school. Might be a sweet story for another time! • Context will be weird, but, I mustered way more into one video 46 days straight, than 11 months of time where I worked on 5 3D animations at my previous job. Talk about dedication! • Grabbed by the Ghoulies was MY CHILDHOOD game. I was a wee lad, playing outside with my neighborhood friends most of time, playing hide and seek, making treehouses... One day, back in 2004 I received a copy from my uncle and a brand new XBOX. Although not well received by "critics", I played the living heck out of that game for years to come! You could say, that particular game made me into a gamer. • Bombinomicon has a total of 134 voice lines, but I still managed to splice "Restraining order" together *hats off* TRIVIA: • The TABS units underwent through a lot of changes the past few months, most notably by appearance. Spy got a more scuffed look and a white PIPE, Sniper got glasses and skin-tone, Engineer and Scout got their skin-tones as well, respectfully... • Other than that, Spy got a replaced "Copy-Self" ability, and Scout dies faster. More still in progress, and lie in wait! • I finally can get to show my true colors with 3D animations. The style I choose is rough, but it gets the job done in time. I surely know now how to handle time with my expertise! • Many ideas did not make the final product, but nothing goes to waste if it was already modeled! I might need it for future videos, who knows? Post its keep pilling up, though, so I need to make some space on my desk, wait that sounds like a me-problem though... oops I'm still typing! ;)
