Fortaleza Anejo Tequila Review

All my peeps! I was excited to be able to score this bottle of Fortaleza so I could do a review on one of my favorite Tequilas. The neat thing about the history of this Tequila is the fact that in the progression of the history of the Tequila for over 150 years, Francisco Javier helped establish the Denomination of Tequila that it had to be made in the state of Jalisco in Mexico to be called Tequila. The family uses traditional methods of growing, harvesting, cooking, distilling and aging their Tequila. They are pioneers in moving the industry forward as well as recognizing their roots on where they came from and how they got to where they are today. This is one of my favorites but at a price point of over $200 per bottle of Anejo, it’s shared with family and friends at special occasions.
