The development of production of oil & gas in marginal fields often does not satisfy the investment requirements to produce the field with standard FSO & FPSOs or to run long subsea pipelines. This means that the production development of the field is not commercially viable based on the amount of produced oil and based on the expected production life of the field. In this webinar, IMarEST President Yves De Leeneer proposes the Versatile Mooring System (VMS) as a solution to produce such fields safely efficiently.
