Setting up your T-Top Boat Cover is an easy, one-person operation that only takes about five minutes to install. Before you begin, make sure your motor is trimmed all the way down. 1. Unroll and unzip your cover, then locate the royal blue webbing strap 2. Attach this strap to the horizontal center bar beneath the front of the t-top. If there is no center bar to attach the cover to, find the additional connector strap that came wrapped around the cover. Take the strap, loop it around the side metal bars of the t-top, and clip to secure. Tighten the strap and tie off any excess webbing 3. Use the additional strap in your order to repeat the previous step in the aft of the T-Top 4. Find the 2 black webbing straps located on each side of the blue strap and attach them to the right and left of the center bar 5. If your boat has a bow roller or an anchor pulpit, place the nose of the cover over the nose of the boat first, and then attach it to the t-top. If not, attach to the t-top and then place the smaller section of the cover over the bow 6. Continue draping the cover over the sides of the boat while working your way toward the aft. Once you reach the rear of the t-top, attach the rear corner and middle straps to the framework 7. Use both hands to throw the cover like a cast net over the motor so that the rear strap is centered on the motor 8. Drape the remaining edges of the cover over the sides of the boat and attach the remaining connector straps 9. Connect the zipper and begin zipping about ⅓ of the way down 10. Enter the cover and inspect all of your connections and tighten all of your connector straps 11. When you go to exit the boat, complete zipping the remainder of the cover as you step out 12. At the bow of the boat, take the strap attached to the royal blue pull tab on the nose and clip it around the wench or other framework on the trailer. Tighten and tie off the hanging portion of the strap 13. Walk to the rear of the boat, inspecting the cover as you go, until you reach the strap aligned with the motor. Take the strap and secure it beneath the foot of the motor. Tighten and tie off the hanging portion of the strap 14. Find the draw rope with loops at both ends beneath the zipper. Slide one end of the rope through a loop and draw the rope tight. Make a clove hitch knot at the end of the rope 15. Confirm that the cover is securely fastened over the bow, rub rails, aft corner, and motor. If the cover is too loose, re-enter the boat to adjust the one-inch webbing straps And that’s all there is to fitting your new T-Top Boat Cover!
