He stands in Vaikunth with the other gods trying to come up with a new plan to encounter Diti and stop her.Diti looks towards one of the 5 pillars of Panchbhoot and we see the fireball of Agni glowing. We get the hint that soon every one of them will be tied to those 5 pillars.Vishnu reveals that he knew about the battle between Garud and Vasuki. Mahadev and Vishnu both charge towards each other and shoot towards the sky. We see even hell is experiencing the jolts of this grand war. Vishnu and Mahadev fight comes back to earth and Vishnu tries his final attempts to stop the war but Mahadev refuses by calling this fight as a part of destiny. Mahadev manages to push Vishnu back but both of them are relentless and showing equal power. We see the repercussions of Vishnu throttling Mahadev all over the cosmos. Parvati comes running and asks Vishnu to stop. Vishnu and Mahadev are in no state to hear anyone. Mahadev summons his Trishul and hits Vishnu in his chest.
