Recently, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi inaugurated important sections of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation network, including the completion of the Pink Line Ring Corridor and the extension of the Magenta Line. Delhi Metro Pink Line Update The Pink Line (Majlis Park – Maujpur-Babarpur section) has now been completed, making it India’s first fully operational metro ring corridor in the national capital. The Pink Line now connects several important parts of Delhi and improves cross-city travel without entering the central congested areas. Key Stations on this Section • Majlis Park • Burari • Jagatpur-Wazirabad • Sonia Vihar • Khajuri Khas • Bhajanpura • Yamuna Vihar • Maujpur-Babarpur This corridor includes major engineering achievements such as a metro bridge over the Yamuna River and double-decker viaduct structures that carry both metro tracks and road traffic. Magenta Line Extension The Magenta Line extension between Deepali Chowk and Majlis Park has also been inaugurated. This corridor significantly improves connectivity between North-West Delhi and North Delhi and integrates with the Pink Line for smoother travel.
