This video features a full day at Rhodes Diagoras International Airport. A very Popular island in Greece close to Turkey that receives warm weather for a lot of the year in a perfect location. Specifically on a Sunday when this video was filmed it was Scandinavian day with airlines coming in from all across these countries all day! The location is only a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal building! I don’t believe it’s a very well known location however it has the best views of the whole runway, the apron and a beautiful backdrop of turkey along the skyline It is a local’s rooftop so be aware when visiting this location you may have to ask to stand here but I had no troubles. From here you can see all movements. On this day runway 24 in operation. Rotation right infront of me and very up close aircraft taxying by makes it a very cool place to position yourself Filmed freehand using a 4K Sony AX53 video camera.
