Early December footage of my brand new diesel heater testing my parts and tool selection against my willingness to freeze to death. Who comes out on top? You will just have watch and find out! I was just using the heater earlier and there was no indication that it was on its way out ran perfectly and then the next time it did not. The glow plug is a very easy part to change and inexpensive so this is definitely something to keep on hand and in mind. I got 3 years out of a glow plug with occasional use and now it is replacing the "new" glow plug in the newly installed heater after a few short months. Classic quality control issues? damaged upon installation in the factory? hard to say.
