APRIL 2025 - Join us as we travel up to Broome too see as many birds as we can! Join us as we embark on an unforgettable journey through Western Australia, starting with an amusing one night stay in Perth. Then, we venture north to Broome, a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers alike. We capture the vibrant hues of Cable Beach at sunset, while spotting stunning birds of the north west. From the iconic Staircase to the Moon phenomenon (which we hoped to see) to the rich tapestry of wildlife at Roebuck Bay, every moment is a feast for the senses. We explored a few iconic places in town such as the Mangrove Hotel, Dragonfly Cafe, Streeters Jetty, Matsos Brewery and Cable Beach House (best spot for food & the Cable Beach sunset!). We also managed to visit one of the many Broome markets (and yes I did buy more tshirts!!). Our little rental Suzuki Jimny from Broome Broome car rentals (loved the name!) took his first journey down the red corrugated roads of Crab Creek Road to the Broome Bird Observatory where Nimal joined in on the Mangrove Tour. There's lots of thick wet mud as the group searched for migratory birds in the lush mangroves. Whether chasing the perfect shot or simply reveling in nature’s wonders, this adventure is bound to leave you spellbound.
