The most UNUSUAL BEACHES in VENEZUELA 🌊🌴 || THE INNS IN PLAYA MEDINA with Valen de Viaje 😍

Since I visited Paria Peninsula for the first time back in the beginning of the 90, I was absolutely blown away by the wild thickness of its mountains being in contrast with its deep blue sea. That wild way in which the trees are thrown to the sea and end up giving it a green hue. Here you can take in the real tropic. Because Paria Peninsula is the last virgin Caribbean left in the world. That 's the Caribbean. That wildness that takes you from green to blue. The palm trees hitting on the shore. The mountains being suddenly open to allow for waves to get through. The roar of the water when the waves break, anxious for enjoying the greens, and they fall back slowly because they wish to keep that freshness. To me the most atomic Venezuelan beaches are right here. Chaguarama de Sotillo is a real sight between the thickness. Impossible to understand that vision from up high. You swear you’re hallucinating and almost get stunned before getting down. There's nothing left. Only sea, sand and palms. Chaguarama de Loero with its rocks to climb and watch over from the left corner. Nivaldito with the rock in front and you can only reach by walking. Playa Medina remains still, cold, peaceful, long, with lots of coconut trees that give shade to its visitors and some almost unnoticeable cabins. Separated from the sea by thick grass and a light railing because safety on these beaches is not a priority; much less an anguish. And from here you can drive to Pui Puy, my favorite beach from all of Venezuela without any doubt. Wild, sonorous, wide. In here amusement becomes astonishment. I can only conceive staying in 16 little clay cabins across, with a hammock on the terrace, a little room with four windows, bathroom and a fan. You come here to listen to the sea, not the air conditioner that gets in the way and much less the TV. The beaches from Paria are for living along nature. And to me, my entrance to Paria is through Rio Caribe, the town where the road ends, because if you keep going you’ll crash with the mountain and with the sea to the left. A town with a taste of chocolate, coconut and curry. Where every morning a little market gets assembled by the sea shore. Where they use drafts to let in sun and wind.
