We illustrate here our technique of through a scleral-corneal sutureleas tunnel exchange the dislocated IOL/capsular bag complex most likely associated with prior pseudoexfoliation syndrome with an Artisan aphakia PMMA iris-claw lens. The technique involves the placement and iris enclavation of the Artisan IOL behind the iris. The Artisan is placed upside down with its concave surface facing the posterior iris surface with the appropriate A constant adjustment. A peripheral surgical iridectomy is also performed with a vitrectomy probe as a precaution for pupillary block potential.
