Interview to Adam Dick who is an attorney and policy consultant. He is former legislative correspondent and legislative aide of Ron Paul's United States House of Representatives Office; campaign consultant for Ed Thompson when he ran for State Senate; and board member of Wisconsin State Board of Elections. Dick holds a BA in Government and History and a JD from the University of Texas at Austin. Adam Dick shares his knowledge and expertise on the legalization of the most commonly used illicit drug in the United States, marijuana. Up to now, nineteen states have passed laws in order to allow the use of cannabis for medical treatment purposes; nonetheless, Washington and Colorado will also consent to its recreational uses. This approach gives a new standpoint on the war on drugs, as it addresses the failure of the previous strategies, which have caused not only economic but social losses, as well.
