For every gallon of higher ethanol blend sold between Oct. 1-31, nearly 50 Nebraska fuel retailers will donate 3 cents toward cancer research and services within the state. — The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will survey a sample of producers in 37 states, including Nebraska, as part of its 2023 Row Crops County Agricultural Production Survey. The information producers provide will be used for statistical purposes only. — A Missouri farmland auction broke the record for the amount of money spent on ag land. Two farmers got into a bidding war, and, in only 15 minutes, the 115 acres set the new record at $34,800 per acre.
