Regulator Rectifier Relocation – Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 / Continental GT 650 In this video, I tackle a common issue that many Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 owners are facing – Regulator Rectifier failure. These Reg/Recs are prone to overheating in their stock position, which can lead to electrical problems and breakdowns. To help prevent this, I relocate mine to a better position at the front of the bike, where it can benefit from improved airflow. Using a set of extension cables supplied by James 'Slick' ( channel - @internetpolification), I show the full process – removing the fuel tank, horn, and the original reg/rec, routing the new cables neatly, and installing the reg/rec in its new home. If you're experiencing charging issues, random electrical faults, or just want to future-proof your Interceptor or GT 650, this video might be a useful reference. 🎥 How to disconnect the cables properly – Watch this video from James • Interceptor & GT650.
