Please add me on Instagram and help me grow :) / _livingiteveryday_ CHICKEN PULAO (RESTAURANT STYLE) Chicken - 1 kg Onions - 3 medium Tomatoes - 3 medium Yogurt (blended) - 1 cup Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp Salt - Taste Shan Bombay Biryani Masala (diluted in half cup water) - 1 packet - 50 gram Rice - 3.5 cups Green Chillis - 5 to 6 Coriander - To Garnish Oil - 1 cup (I use Avocado Oil) STEPS Heat Oil and fry onions until brown. Add tomatoes, cover and cook on low heat until tomatoes are tender and oil separates. Give it a good mix on medium flame. Add chicken, yogurt, Biryani Masala, Ginger Garlic Paste and stir fry (bhoon-na) for 8 to 10 minutes. Cover and cook on low to medium flame until chicken is tender and oil separates. Make sure to not to have excess water in your gravy. Soaked rice (15 minutes). Add rice, and 6.5 cups water. I generally add 7 cups, but I reduce half a cup because pulao already has lots of water/moisture in it. Add salt. Green chilis and coriander for garnishing. Once water dries down (I don't let it dry completely) and give a 15 minutes dum. Pulao is ready. Serve it with raita.
