Hey everyone — I’m 10 days post-surgery, and I wanted to give you a real, unfiltered update. This journey has been overwhelming. I had two surgeries, I’ve been in constant discomfort, and everything takes effort — even washing my hair. Thankfully, the drains are finally out, and I’m slowly starting to feel better. I received some news about my lumpectomy: it’s benign, but my team still wants me to start medication to prevent possible future cancer growth. It’s confusing and scary, and I still don’t have all the answers. I’m also sharing a look at what was removed from my chest — if you’re squeamish, skip the visuals. I just want to be transparent with my community. Thank you to everyone who’s helped me — especially my family, my best friend Janet, and those who’ve reached out with love.
