Hand wash dispenser, lid and pour tray with mild soapy water. Do not submerge. Open Filter package and remove filter. Soak the filter in cold water for 15 minutes. Hold filter under cold running water for 15 seconds. Allow excess water to drain. Insert filter into pour tray, push down and twist clockwise to lock. Fill pour tray with cold water. Allow the pour tray to completely drain into the dispenser. Change your filter every 2 months with a Genuine PUR replacement filter. Activate your Filter Change light before first use and reset it every time you replace your filter. To Activate the Filter Change Light, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. As you hold the button, red, yellow, and green lights will turn on together. Release the button while all 3 lights are still lit. The green light will blink 6 times after you release the button. The appropriate light will flash 6 times after water is poured from the dispenser. Lights will remain off until after water is dispensed. Be sure to reset your Filter Change light every time you replace your filter. If the light on your pitcher is out, hold the reset button down for at least 5 seconds. To prevent dispenser leaks, be sure nothing is pressing the water tap, such as the refrigerator door, that would accidentally open it and let water spill out.
