I built the world's smallest fully playable game controller. It’s only 42.4mm wide. This video covers the complete workflow, including 3D printing, CNC machining, PCB design, micro-joystick development, final assembly, and real gameplay tests on Steam Deck and PC. I'm MEAKYI, a DIY enthusiast from China. One day, a spontaneous idea sparked after dinner: "Could I build the world's smallest functional game controller?" This project took about 5 months to complete. Besides building the controller itself, the process also included filming the entire project, video editing, and some 3D animation rendering. Since I’m not a professional engineer, many parts of this project were my first attempt.
