#kawasaki #1000sx #alignment #rearwheeldrive #motorcycle In this video I walk you through how to align the rear wheel. This process is the same on at least the 2020-2023 models and may apply to other generations as well. You will need a new retaining clip/snap ring: https://p.blueeyedrider.com/1000sx/ka... (RevZilla) Some tools you may want for this project: 3/8" Torque wrench: https://p.blueeyedrider.com/tools/gea... 3/8" Breaker Bar: https://p.blueeyedrider.com/tools/gea... Hex bit socket set: https://p.blueeyedrider.com/tools/nei... Rear paddock stand: https://p.blueeyedrider.com/tools/tra... (RevZilla) Please note - some people do not align based on the wheel, they align with a chain alignment tool. This is fine, but if something is off with the chain sprockets then your wheel will be out of alignment. It is best to make sure both are aligned properly - I will have an alignment video with the chain tool in the future. ----- In This Video ----- 00:00 - Intro 00:29 - What you need 01:28 - Loosen retaining bolts 01:48 - Loosen chain to closest mark 02:07 - Tighten left retaining bolt 02:21 - Counting alignment notches 02:56 - Removing the retaining clip 03:07 - Loosen axle nut 03:46 - Align the wheel 04:00 - Tighten right retaining bolt 04:20 - Double check alignment 05:15 - Install new retaining clip ► You can support me through Patreon: / blueeyedrider ► You can support me through my Etsy shop: https://blueeyedrider.etsy.com For all the equipment, accessories, gear I use, plus recommended books and more, check out my useful products list: https://blueeyedrider.com/useful-prod...
