Madlanga Commission | Carrim details dealings with Maumela and Matlala

North West businessman Suliman Carrim has testified before the Madlanga Commission, that he purported to have a relationship with Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, in order to secure the money, he alleges was owed to him by alleged cartel member, Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala. He attributed this strategy to fellow North West businessman, Brown Mogotsi. However, transactions before the probe, show that a third of the R1.5 million Matlala first paid to Carrim, went to Morgan Maumela - raising the eyebrows of the commission. This as Carrim began his evidence in public after his in-camera testimony bid was refused. SABC News Senior Reporter Canny Maphanga filed this report.
