Joe and I head to Lac La Croix and Takucmich Lake in search of Giant Lake Trout! While the true giants elude us on this trip, we caught a few trophy fish nonetheless. Highlights from this trip include a 32" Lake Trout, 29" Walleye, 19.5" Smallmouth Bass and 35" Northern Pike. However, the most memorable part of the trip was without a doubt the crazy hail and windstorm that hit us on Lac La Croix on our final day of the trip. While it was a life-threatening storm, we did keep our cool and get to shelter without harm.
