✨ That’s a wrap on Season One of Chef’s Kiss ✨ What an incredible experience this has been. Season one is officially wrapped, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. So many laughs. So many bloopers (of course 😄). So much amazing food. But more than anything, I feel inspired. Each episode, I learned something new from some of the most talented, generous, and passionate chefs from around the Maritimes. Being in the kitchen with them gave me more confidence to try things at home and to push myself just a little outside my comfort zone. One recipe that really stuck with me was Chef Dany’s rosemary focaccia. Now… I have been down the sourdough road before. And while I loved it, keeping a starter alive felt like a full-time commitment. If you bake all the time — amazing. But for me, it was very much an all in or all out situation 😅 This focaccia? So much more doable. Simple ingredients. Low maintenance. No starter stress. I gave it a go, and truth be told… mine turned out more like a tea biscuit than a focaccia 😂 I don’t think I let the dough rise long enough — lesson learned. But even still? It was delicious. The kids loved it, I loved it, and I’ll 100% be trying again. Busy-mom win ✔️ So now I’m curious… 👉 Are you Team Sourdough or Team Focaccia? Because I’m officially determined to become Team Focaccia — simpler, faster, and way easier to pull off on a busy day.
