This rig is the representation of my ideologies of what an ideal rig should be. This rig focuses on optimization, improvements and fixes of previous rigs. Feature Log (GR // 1.0): A. Innovation Seamless Fingers: An idea that was a concept for 2 years. After taking some inspiration from blender minecraft rigs, the creator comes up with an approach of adding a new topology for the fingers. Resulting in seamless transition between the limb and the palm Boolean Face: This system allows the user to manipulate face joints without being restricted to topology. Unlike previous rigs boolean face system, this one supports subdivision and mouth cavity. Mesh Mode: This mode enable the user to access the mesh without needing to fiddle with the layers. This mode also hides the body controllers to get a clearer vision of the meshes. Solo Mesh: This mode allows the user to isolate one mesh into view for easier polygon selection without being interfered with another mesh. HUD Mesh Group: This group allows the user to select a spesific mesh conviniently without having to dissect the rig components in the object manager Single Deformer wrist and ankle: Rather than using one deformer for each axis of rotation, this rig features a single bend deformer and adjust the angle dynamically resulting in better deformation. IK Spline Body: Rather than using standard joints, this rig uses the IK Spline system in order to preserve the mesh volume after deformation. Bend Optimization: Previous rigs are having trouble of keeping clean topology when the limbs are bent past 90 degrees, this rig is optimized for bends way past 90 degrees. Custom Eye: This rig allows the user to use custom eye texture. 1 Pixel Eye Height: Using the boolean face system this rig is able to have an eye height of 1 pixel. Hollow and Shallow mouths: Enables the user to turn on mouth cavity. B. Improvements: Advance finger controls: Press Q to access advance finger controls, where this allows you to control the fingers individually and bend your fingers past the limit. Rotate the controllers to spread the fingers. Advance Stretch: Control how much, how far and how are the limbs being stretch. Separated Skin Texture: Allows the user to change clothes, Pants or Head individually for convenience. Custom Eye Size: Set the height, length and the size of your eyes manually without messing with the face joints. C.
