This animated history short reveals one of the wildest true stories from the past: Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte was once attacked by a horde of rabbits! 🐇💥 It happened in July 1807, right after Napoleon’s victory at the Treaties of Tilsit. To celebrate, his chief of staff rounded up over 3,000 tame bunnies for a rabbit hunt. Little did they expect the tables to turn – when released, the hungry rabbits charged Napoleon and his party instead of fleeing. The emperor initially laughed, but soon fell silent as hundreds of fluffy attackers swarmed the field. Memoirs describe how the intrepid rabbits even “attacked him frantically in the rear” and piled between his legs until he staggered. Overwhelmed (even nibbling on his clothing!), Napoleon and his officers were forced to retreat to their carriage.
