The CryoProbe is a great Modality for lesion treatment of children and adults. By pointing the CryoProbe micro-jet directly at the lesion, the application is accurate to the millimeter and treats only abnormal tissue. The location specific avoids collateral damage to adjacent healthy tissue. The patient will only experience minor discomfort and as a result. No anesthesia, little to no pre-operative skin preparation or post-operative care is needed. The CryoProbe uses Nitrous Oxide which provides a cooling temperature of -127 degrees. The reduced temperature and the fine amount of control provide you with excellent accuracy with reduced collateral damage.
