KHIDR The TIME TRAVELLER: Master of Ilm Laduni | Completed Life Story In this video, we explore the most mysterious figure in Islamic history: Khidr ʿalayhissalām — also known as al-Khidr or Hizir. With the permission of Allah, he was given special knowledge known as ʿilm al-Ladunni — secret divine wisdom that includes both the past and the future. This is no ordinary story — it's a timeless journey full of mystery, miracles, and the unseen world. 🌌 But who is Khidr in Islam? Was Khidr a Prophet? Is Khidr still alive today? Why did even Prophet Musa (Moses) seek him out? What does the Quran and hadith tell us about this hidden man who may still walk among us today? 🕊️ Mentioned in Sūrat al-Kahf of the Qurān, and deeply discussed in Islamic mysticism, Khidr is believed by many Muslims and Islamic scholars to be the "servant" of Allah who met with Prophet Musa and taught him secret truths. Together, they went on a journey with three divine tests, where Musa was challenged to stay patient and silent as Khidr carried out strange and shocking actions. Through these tests, Khidr revealed how Allah’s wisdom sometimes lies beyond human understanding — a reminder that what seems wrong may actually be right in the eyes of Allah. 🌊 But Khidr’s story doesn’t end there. From the times of Prophet Musa and Yusha (Joshua) to the modern world, Khidr is believed to have continued helping mu’min and sincere Muslim souls in unseen ways. Some say he appears when we need him most — and can take any form. From the tayya makhan (folding of space) to basta zaman (expanding of time), Khidr ʿalayhissalām defies the natural laws we know. He is said to meet Ilyas ʿalayhissalām at the wall of Dhulqarnayn (Zulkarnain) — the same Zulkarnain mentioned in Surah Kahf — and every year they drink from the Zamzam well in Makkah and perform Hajj and ʿUmrah together. 🕋 Some Islamic scholars believe that Khidr and Dhulqarnayn were related — cousins through their mothers. Others say Khidr is from the descendants of Nūḥ ʿalayhissalām or Qābil, son of Ādam. These accounts highlight the spiritual mystery of his origin and his long life. Is he a Prophet, an angel, or a unique creation of Allah? In Islamic stories, he is described as someone who can be anywhere at any time. He is believed to help believers in times of hardship, just as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said in a hadith: “He was called al-Khaḍir because when he sat on dry land, the area turned green with life.” 🌱 ✨ In the Quranic story of Surah Kahf, Khidr fixes a wall, kills a child, and breaks a boat — all actions that confuse Musa. But in the end, each act reveals a deeper divine purpose. The hidden truths behind these actions remind us that what we see is only a drop, while Allah’s knowledge is like the vast sea. Some Islamic scholars say there is a spiritual station called “Maqam al-Khidr”, where chosen saints are blessed to meet him and receive guidance from him. In some Sufi teachings, Khidr appears as a guide to sincere seekers of truth and deen over dunya. ⏳ Can Khidr time travel? Some stories suggest he can — performing tasks in different locations at the same moment. This is why many ask “how to recognize Khidr” or wonder if they’ve met him before. Maybe he was the old man who helped you, or the stranger who warned you. Maybe... you already met him and didn’t know. 😌 From Islamic cartoons to Islamic videos, stories of Prophet Khizar ʿalayhissalām continue to inspire millions — especially through platforms like The Islam TV, MercifulServant, or IlovuAllah. In the story of Musa and Khidr, we find one of the most unique spiritual adventures ever told. So join us as we travel with Khidr and Prophet Musa on this unforgettable journey.
