Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let the seeds change colour. 2. Add cloves, peppercorns, cardamoms, cinnamon, bay leaf and onions, mix and sauté till onions turn translucent. 3. Add potatoes and cauliflower florets and mix well. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder and salt and mix. 4. Add sufficient water, mix, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add rice and mix. 5. Add green peas and mix well. Add 3 cups water, stir to mix, cover and cook till fully done. 6. Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
