Star dust memories Painted diaries series By Bernadette Kam Fu LEE A video to register the various moments of our night walk in Rome ( 2013 ) , our night ride in Hong Kong ( 2018 ) through a poem of Tang dynasty by Wen Tinyun ( 812-870 A.D). The poem was written on Italian grandma’s rag in Chinese Calligraphy as part of an installation in our garden near Rome ( 2015 ). The translation of the poem on canvas -possibly derived from Prof. Yip of the University of Hong Kong The newly translated version of the poem ( as captions in the video ) , sung in Cantonese was by me. To accompany the poem, inserts of video / photos of leaves in gessoed reliefs I realised in Mui Wo , Hong Kong- dated 2018 circa. I was born Kam Fu LI at birth. My name LI Kam Fu Bernadette was used during my years at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze ( 1983-1984), (1985-1989) Bernadette LEE ( or 李錦芙in Chinese ) was the name I used ever since I turned three and a half. ( from kindergarten, schools to Universities)
