Managed to get away for a quick trip to Lake Lenthall (19-21 Nov) to target some Barra as both times late last year and earlier this year the weather and COVID shenanigans just weren't in anyone's favour. Was surprised to see the level had dropped 3 meters since January 2021 and sitting at only 60% capacity. Glad to hear they've had so much rain up there this week (22-26 Nov) that the level is currently at 96% and climbing still. During this wet week a 100cm Barra was also caught so I'll be back sooner than later to try for some larger fish. Luckily I managed to mark a few timbers and structure up as for now they'll be fully under water. So my total score was 3 from 7 (72-73-73) but that's Barra fishing and I fished weedless nearly all weekend as majority of my bites and follows were from around the edges and in and around the pads and weeds.
