From the producers of Channel 4's "The Tube" comes what is supposed to be ITV's answer to "Top of the Pops". It's the hottest nightclub on the telly, The Roxy! Presented by David "Kid" Jensen and Kevin Sharkey, this series used a weekly chart distributed by Satellite Media Services, produced by Capital Radio and compiled by the Media Research Information Bureau (MRIB). You could hear "Kid" count them down every Sunday afternoon from 5pm, in competition with BBC Radio 1's own chart show. Thanks to a fan site, I don't actually have to skim through the episode to tell you who is performing. Studio Performances: Hue and Cry - "Strength To Strength" [#46] Karel Fialka - "Hey Matthew" (intercut with video) [#11] Housemaster Boyz - "HouseNation" [#5] Shakin' Stevens - "Come See About Me" [#32] M/A/R/R/S - "Pump Up the Volume" [#1] Videos: Madonna - "Causing a Commotion" [#3] L.L. Cool J. - "I Need Love" [#14] Michael Jackson - "Bad" [#8] Notes: "The Kid" calls it "Britain's liveliest chart show". Karel Fialka is at the bar. Kevin calls The Roxy "Britain's favorite chart show". I think he's projecting. Chic is back on the chart. A Saturday rebroadcast. Last episode with the first logo and first opening sequence. This episode has not been previously uploaded. Matt Churchett gave me the link to his Google Drive folder, and you can download these for offline viewing: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder...
