I N S T R U C T I O N S: Sharing a meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan* Tune in with "Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo" x 3 I bow to the subtle divine teacher The Source of All Wisdom This centres us in the impersonal neutrality of our 'higher self', reaching upwards through our verticality to invite a capacity to embody our infinite divine soul nature: beyond death, beyond division, Being as One. Holding the ring finger and little finger down with the thumb, raise up the Saturn and Jupiter fingers. This mudra - hand position - is commonly seen in religious iconography. The index finger is associated with the energy of the planet Jupiter: expansion, wisdom, knowledge and prosperity. The middle finger invokes the energy of Saturn: Patience and Discipline. In this meditation we silently vibrate the sounds 'sa, ta, na, ma' . These seed sounds resonate with the flow of creation: infinity, birth, death, regeneration. Focusing the mind on these sounds, you are invited to release your troubles to the infinite. Inhale Sa-ta-na-ma Exhale Sa-ta-na-ma If the mind wanders return again and again, to the breath, to the sounds within. Focus the closed eyes on the centre of your forehead.
