In this video I am profiling and demonstrating Intercom's AI chatbot and comparing it to our. Contrary to Zendesk, which doesn't have a legitimate AI chatbot, Intercom actually has an AI chatbot, and it's also not terrible, in fact it's almost decent. However, it has hidden costs, both financially and technologically, costs you need to be aware of before you choose an AI chatbot to embed on your website. For instance, Intercom's "Fin" AI chatbot is 30 times more heavy on initial bandwidth consumption, significantly increasing the initial page load time of your page, potentially loosing a lot of visitors without the patience to wait for the page to load before they click the back button in their browser. In addition, it seems as if Intercom's AI chatbot is largely based upon iframes and old technology, not really suitable for the 21st century, while our simply injects a button directly into your DOM/HTML, making it much slicker on the page experience, and much less intrusive. However, the biggest concern about intercom is their hidden cost. With Intercom, you pay one additional dollar for each "resolution". A resolution is when one of your visitors holds a conversation with your AI chatbot, and close the session without asking for a human to help them.
