Free Written Pattern: https://vivcrochets.com/shoulder-bag Hello and welcome to another video! Today, we're crocheting a simple mini shoulder bag / baguette bag. This DIY mini shoulder bag is super cute and super fun to make! This one has been requested many times, so thank you to all those who requested it! Please continue to leave more recommendations in the comments! Project Level: This easy crochet shoulder bag tutorial is for those that are slightly more advanced than beginner! This bag is worked in rounds, which an absolute beginner may not be familiar with. Also, the attachment of the strap can be a little difficult, but you can crochet the strap separately, then sew it on. The rest is pretty easy. We use half double crochet for the entire project! Stitches: Slip knot (sk) Chain (ch) Half double crochet (hdc) Slip stitch (sl st) Materials: Red Heart Super Saver yarn in "Café Latte": https://amzn.to/40BEvZX Weight: Medium (4) Fiber: 100% acrylic (cotton works fine, too!) Approximate length: 180 yd / 165 m Approximate weight: 100 g 5.0 mm Aluminum Crochet Hook Darning/Tapestry/Yarn Needle Scissors Gauge: 15 hdc - 13 rows = 4 in / 10 cm Dimensions: 9 in x 5.5 in or 22 cm x 14 cm Tips: Tighten your slip stitches to make the seam smaller and less visible The chain 1 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a half double crochet If you're having trouble with the bag strap, consider chaining the length of the strap you want and half double crocheting across it. Then, simply sew the strap onto the ends of the bag Weave in your loose ends on the inside of the bag (where no one will be able to see!)
