She made her feature film debut after being handpicked by two-time Academy Award nominee M. Night Shyamalan for a comedic cameo in Trap, alongside Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, where the two filmed two days' worth of improv. Since then, Hailey has continued to collaborate with some of the industry's best, including sharing a scene with Primetime Emmy Award winner Matthew MacFadyen, working under the direction of Emmy-nominated Michael Goi, and Director’s Guild of America nominee Greg Mottola, and acting in a project produced by Primetime Emmy nominee Elizabeth Banks. Hailey also worked alongside Meredith Alloway on her Black List '23 endorsed directorial debut feature, produced by Academy Award winner Diablo Cody and Academy Award nominee Mason Novick. In addition to acting, Hailey has significant industry experience. She served as the Director of Studio Development at a formerly highly populated Toronto acting studio, where she formed valuable corporate partnerships for the studio and consulted actors on their careers. Hailey further enriched her career with her roles at the Toronto International Film Festival Inc. (TIFF), initially as an Associate Industry Programmer for the Rising Stars program, later advancing to a Lead Programmer for a selection of TIFF’s year-round industry initiatives. She also contributed to TIFF's DEI efforts, including co-producing TIFF's inaugural & succeeding Black Excellence Brunch and fundraising initiatives for their Viola Desmond Cinema Campaign. With a deep understanding of both sides of the industry, Hailey continues to build an impressive career, driven by her passion for storytelling and commitment to diverse and authentic representation.
