DIY Ita bag tutorial clear pocket tote bag anime merchandise display This project draws inspiration from Japan's itabag subculture, designed specifically for showcasing pins, badges, plushies, and other collectible merchandise. I created a spacious tote bag featuring a 3D transparent pocket with a 5cm (2'') depth, perfect for displaying small plushies and figures. The clear display pocket can hold up to 30 standard 58mm badges laid flat, giving you plenty of space to show off your collection. The bag combines practical design with fan culture - it features a large capacity body with wide, comfortable shoulder straps that won't dig in when fully loaded. The contrasting color design creates a natural frame around the display pocket, making your collection pop. For the transparent section, I used 0.4mm TPU fabric, which is both eco-friendly and beginner-friendly to sew with. If you happen to have PVC material on hand, that works as a substitute too. As a bonus, the video wraps up with a quick demonstration of creating a DIY backing board in a cute girly room aesthetic - hopefully this sparks some inspiration for your own displays!
